Go Sleep
A downloadable game
Hi! I'm Kurus, the creator of Go Sleep. Thank you very much for visiting this page!

You play as Jodie Fright, an 11-year-old girl who is left alone by her mother in the middle of the night storm because she has to go to work. And of course, as a young child, you feel afraid when you have to be left alone. But at the same time, you also feel good.
Why? Because you can do things that you usually can't do when your mom is at home during the day. Like playing the computer, playing with the gun, picking up a knife, arguing with your pet cat, going into your mother's room to see forbidden things, and most importantly ... you have a great opportunity to uncover the secret that your mother hides behind the door in the basement.
- A short game inspired by various real incidents of violence against children that occur due to the negligence of parents.
- You can interact with almost all the items in your house to find out stories about you and your mother, your thoughts on the things around you, and also certain secrets that your mother didn't tell you.
- You can turn on the computer and do various things. Like browsing the internet, playing mini-games, and listening to some music.
- No traditional combat systems, headache-inducing puzzles, or ghosts. So you can explore your house in a relaxed manner.
- You can argue with your pet, Bodhi, a cat that you really hate and love at the same time. And you can also ask him to help you in unlocking a mysterious secret by giving him his favorite food.
- Most of your choices and actions in this game can affect the ending and in this game itself, there are 14 different endings.

*MILD SPOILERS BELOW*
I’ve managed to get two endings and one game over so far (the murder in my sleep and uh...Baldi [is that a reference?] comes in my room...plus the fire).
I’m trying to progress in the game so I’m just curious what the code for the mysterious paper/computer is. I’m trying to figure it out but can’t. A run button and a guide would be appreciated. (But thank you for option to skip text, helps when exploring).
I’m mostly enjoying this so far. I like the flavour text and interacting with everything. Jodie really hate plants, to the point of each one having unique dialogue! And she’s got some funny dialogue. (For the most part. Some of it like the sofa and the mother’s room makes me uncomfortable, because Jodie’s a child. I know she’s curious and it’s probably supposed to make me feel like that but...it just seems too much at times. The bad ending scenes I’ve seen aren’t too explicit and the description does mention ‘inspired by real life incidents of violence’. But I think it would be best to include content warnings just in case).
I like the RPG maker XP graphics you’ve used, but the grainy filter on the house looks really strange. I appreciate the use of custom graphics though and the few music tracks are nice.
This is a pretty decent effort for a first game. I hope you found my feedback useful and have a great day. :)
Hello! Thank you for your lovely feedback! I really appreciate it.
For the code, if you go to the computer room, then you will find two bookshelves, right? And behind that two bookshelves, you will find the stack of books. You interact with that books and you will get the code for login into your Ma's computer.
Yeah, I knew it's too much for a child to have an interaction like that, but based on my research and my personal experience, that is what happened when your parents never gave you an education about 'such things' and in the end, you started seeing and practicing what you saw by yourself. But thank you for your comment about that dirty interaction. I promise I will fix this if I make another game with the child as a protagonist.
I knew it's strange. I just wanted to make it look different compared to other games. But at the end of the development process, I also think the same as you. So, I promise I will fix this in the next game.
Once again, thank you for giving me feedback, and have a great day too!
